The major shareholders of Los Portales are two business groups, each owns 50% share: (i) the Raffo Group, national capital and (ii) The Ica Group, Mexican capital.
The Raffo Group has more than 100 years in the national economy; throughout company history has been part of the financial, real estate and textile fields. The Raffo Group, nowadays actively participate on the fields: real estate (urban renewal, multifamily housing, real estate rental), hotels and parking lots. The main institutions which form part of the Raffo Group are: i) LP Holding S.A., Holding company of Raffo Group, which manages large investments portfolio; ii) Los Portales S.A. dedicated to real estate business of multifamily housing and urban renewal, hotel management and parking lots, among others, iii) Caudalosa Miner Company, S.A. dedicated to mining activities, mainly to the concentrate production of: lead, zinc and copper
On the other hand; the Ica Group is the largest Mexican conglomerate of contracting companies, the main lines of business are constructions, engineering, infrastructure and housing. Their presence on the Mexican market has over 60 years and it has developed mega infrastructure projects, urban and industrial construction; construction, maintenance and operation of highways, ports and airports, dams and tunnels, and it is also involved in the concessions process of the national water management and waste collecting. The experience of the Ica Group has strongly contributed to consolidate the operations of Los Portales S.A. taking advantages of the know-how, experience and commercial strategies of his strategic partner.
