Los Portales as one social responsibility company and engaged with the limited income communities have helped until the date more than 24 thousand families, offering them the opportunity to be part on the urban renewal, through a direct credit system.

Committed to the environment, in august 2011, Los Portales launched its internal recycling campaign REACTION. The goal of this campaign is to make the co-workers of the group become aware of the importance of separate the solid waste, for this reason, recycling bins have been located for paper, glass, plastic and garbage in each office work area, this campaign includes a training for all staff members on the proper use of them and to understand a little bit of the impact that it has the recycling. This training was made with the company “Recycle at home” that supported the entire implementation process of this campaign. GESAR is the company in charge of daily collection of recycled waste to make good use of them.

Los Portales works hand in hand with the Peruvian government in favor of limited income communities, which principal need is a house, through social programs such as: My House, My Home and Own Roof.
